Website operator and scope
These terms apply to your use of truebooksusa.com and to the marketing text-message program described below. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to TrueBooks USA.
Website information describes our services and provides general educational material. It is not individualized accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. Contacting us or requesting a consultation does not itself establish a paid service engagement. Any agreed services, fees, responsibilities, and deliverables are addressed separately with the client.
Using the website
Use the website lawfully and provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not impersonate someone else, submit contact information you are not authorized to use, interfere with the website, or try to access information without permission.
The public chat widget is intended for inquiries. Do not use it to send passwords, bank-account credentials, Social Security numbers, tax documents, or payment-card details. Ask us how to provide any records needed for an agreed service.
We may update the website and its content. Features may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or because of service-provider interruptions. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.
TrueBooks USA marketing SMS program
If you separately opt in through the chat widget at truebooksusa.com/chat, you authorize marketing text messages from TrueBooks USA at the mobile number you provide. Messages may include service announcements, promotions, and special offers. Messages may be sent using automated technology.
SMS enrollment requires your affirmative consent. Reading these terms, using the website, requesting a consultation, or merely providing a phone number does not enroll you. You can contact us or purchase services without agreeing to marketing texts.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies. Your wireless provider may charge for messages or data, including messages you send to us. Check your mobile plan or contact your provider about those charges.
Stopping messages and getting help
Reply STOP to the number sending the marketing messages to withdraw your SMS consent. You may receive a confirmation of your request; marketing messages will then stop. Contact us if messages continue or you need help with an opt-out.
Reply HELP to the sending number for assistance, or email client@truebooksusa.com. You can also use the business contact details below. Use the sending number for SMS commands; the listed business telephone is not necessarily the SMS sender.
If you later want to receive marketing messages again, contact us or use the supported enrollment process to give fresh consent. If your number changes or is reassigned, let us know so we can update your preferences. Do not enroll a number you do not control.
Delivery and privacy
Message delivery depends on your carrier, device, coverage, and the messaging service. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Do not rely on website chat or SMS for urgent or deadline-sensitive instructions.
Our Privacy Policy explains the handling of website and messaging information, including restrictions on use of mobile information and SMS consent. Review it before enrolling.
Third-party services and changes
The website uses third-party hosting, chat, and scheduling services. Those providers may have separate terms for their own services. A link to another website does not make its operator part of TrueBooks USA.
If we update these terms, we will publish the revised terms and effective date here. Changes to this page do not substitute for a new consent when a change to the SMS program requires one.
